CVB Sign in The Meatpacking District Approved By Landmark Preservations

Sign by Cynthia von Buhler and Xavier Dietrich II.

Red Glowing CVB Sign Approved by NYC Landmark Preservations:
A couple of months ago von Buhler received a citation for her CVB sign which hangs from the second floor of her loft and art gallery in Manhattan's meatpacking district. After paperwork and photographs were submitted the sign has finally been grandfathered in because it was hung before the building became a landmark. The sign, made by von Buhler and her friend Xavier Dietrich II, was designed to fit in with the meatpacking aesthetic. The CVB stands for Cynthia von Buhler, CVB Space, and lately Carrozzini von Buhler, her art gallery with Stefania Carrozzini. This is the same sign that von Buhler stood in front of for her Boston Globe billboard. View the sign (and billboard) by scrolling down to the end of the previous post.
